Each quest has you enter the sewers at a different spawn point. We repeated Act 1 Sewers for 80% of Act1. Only one zone available per Act just seems lazy, guys. Your Settings UI is missing a lot of features available in most games (Eg.: Can't change graphics options. The "Trade" selection when you interact with this NPC has been locked all the way through my game experience (Act 3). There is ONE merchant that never seems to unlock anything past the "Donation" tab. Nothing interesting added to the cities. No vendors were available to spend currency.
You must also spend this bizarre currency. Forget you are leveling up and provided a passive point. I played through three acts and still didn't use gold or fragments for anything other than the passive tree requiring this currency to purchase point allocation. What's up with those fragments? Monsters drop Gold and Fragments. This skill system destroys the immersion of your character in a fantasy world. Now the passives are also some random number.
#WARHAMMER CHAOSBANE UPGRADE#
Energy generators require 4 points per upgrade, energy consumers use 5 points per upgrade and god skills are 6 points per upgrade. Each skill type has a different value requirement. Suddenly you reallocate all skill points to fit in this single extra point. It leaves you in weird state of skill choices as you progress. With each type (Energy Generators, God Skills (From the strange passive tree (unloved offspring of POE's magnificent Passive Tree), Passive Skills, and Energy Consuming Skills) requiring different amounts. The pool of points must be spent on Action skills and passives. These abilities will require bizarre point allocation. Character progression unlocks new abilities. Definitively no creative effort went into developing progressive loot. Super mediocre loot system: the loot doesn't seem to evolve. A few things worth mentioning if someone is thinking of getting it next Tuesday: After more than 12 hours put into this game, I can say it has been the most disappointing ARPG experience ever.
I was really looking forward to Chaosbane.
